Hope & Area Transition Society is looking for an individual who may have lived experience and/or work experience as it pertains to substance use and the opioid crisis.   The Peer Coordinator will respond to the Overdose Crisis and lend insight and expertise to a Community Response, working alongside Substance Use and Homeless Outreach Team.  If you feel this is you and you can:

  • Provide outreach and training to the community through a trauma informed approach
  • Empower your peers to be leaders in the community, who can offer insight and perspective to the Overdose Crisis
  • Strengthen and engage community relationships
  • Provide cultural awareness and foster partnerships with local First Nations and Elders

This position is a term position for 9-months, is 32 hours per week and has flexibility to work from home and in office.
